Online Safety
Online safety is of huge importance and it is vital that children are taught key knowledge and skills to keep themselves safe online. The UK Council for Internet Safety have identified eight areas of online safety knowledge, which are shown in the image below:
At St James' we ensure that we cover these eight areas and the key year group objectives within them, through our Computing, PSHE and specific online safety lessons.
Below are two documents that show how we cover these. One displays the key objectives for each area of online safety and the lessons in each year group that covers these. The other shows how these lessons are mapped out across the year in each year group.
